Collaboration is key to what we do.Founded by legendary Broadway lighting designer Jules Fisher, and under the direction of Joshua Dachs, FDA has over 50 years' experience in providing guidance to over 1,000 performing arts projects. These range from small community theatres to major cultural centers worldwide and includes theaters for drama, dance and musicals; concert halls; opera houses; multi-purpose touring venues; higher education and academic institutions; corporate auditoriums and event spaces; rock'n'roll clubs and popular music venues.Our goal is to craft buildings that are easy to find your way around, are great places to visit, work, or perform in, and that function equally well for the artists who work in the space, the technical staff who keep it running smoothly, and the management team that has to operate it successfully. To do that we draw on our deep experience and listen closely to our clients, their staff, and their stakeholders.Our staff includes people with backgrounds as set and lighting designers, musicians, architects, stage technicians, production managers, producers, and stage managers.
