Sport Dog Food is a family-owned and -operated business created on a family farm located along the eastern shores of Long Island, New York. Family means everything to us and, like you, we know that dogs are people too. More than just pets, dogs are our friends, confidants, and ever-faithful companions. That's why we gave our first dog a name that reflects how much he means to us – we named him Brother. Brother was an active dog who spent his days roaming the family farm. He was living the dream until one day he fell sick. Brother developed severe digestive issues that made it difficult for his body to absorb nutrients from his food and he became weaker and more lethargic by the day. That's when we knew we had to do something. That's how Sport Dog Food was born. Born from a Brother's need, Sport Dog Food is a family company through and through.
