The Oshkosh Opera House Foundation, Inc., was formed in 1986 to operate, program, and manage the vintage 1883 Grand Opera House, a beautifully restored 650-seat performing arts center owned by the City of Oshkosh. In 2009-10, the foundation guided the organization through a second restoration, which included the addition of the Grand Lounge, a hospitality/meeting/cabaret performance venue. Including partnerships with the Oshkosh Community Players and the Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra, resident performances by four area high schools, and its own performing arts and student educational programming, The Grand hosts over 100 performance events each season.
