Turning 11, Queens World continues to navigate the New NEW with online screenings and live broadcasts that spotlight underserved artists and audiences. Queens World is set to return to the Museum of the Moving Image and Kaufman Astoria Studiso June 23 -26, 2011. We will adhere to all regulations and add a few exciting safe twists to engage the world. We will continue many of our signature elements: dynamic thematic programming, hosted screening events with engaging talk-backs, relevant networking opportunities, warm and inclusive parties and gathering. As always we will curate a festival that offers exciting, topical, bold and entertaining feature & short narrative, documentary, LGBTQ and animated films of all styles & genres. We are thrilled to introduce independent and international cinema to Queens and to introduce Queens to the world.
