Established in 1999, Michael M. Simpson + Associates, Inc. is a 100% minority-owned, SDB structural engineering firm with a presence in Greenville, SC; Atlanta, GA; and Charlotte, NC. Our staff includes seven (7) registered professional engineers, with our designers and engineers averaging over 25 years of experience in structural engineering. Our design team has experience with projects ranging in size from 100 SF to 1,000,000 GSF and construction cost from less than $250,000 up to $400 million. Collectively, MMSA's design-build projects estimated construction cost exceeds $2.2 billion. Over the course of 19 years as a diversified structural engineering firm, MMSA has been providing consulting structural engineering/CA services for a number of projects both within the US and globally. We have a vast amount of experience in new building design, renovation / addition design, IDIQ / IDC / On-Call services; LEED / Sustainable design, anti-terrorism / force protection design, building code / forensic assessments, Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 inspections and feasibility studies.
