Our core business is traditional banking, the provision of personal and business daily banking services. We have the largest geographic reach of any credit union in the province with 46 business locations throughout the province. First West is headquartered in the Vancouver suburb of Langley and has regional administration centres in Duncan on Vancouver Island, and in Penticton in B.C.'s Southern Interior.First West was formed in 2010 through the merger of Envision Credit Union and Valley First Credit Union; however our roots date back to 1946.
