Following the 1987 stock market crash The ECU Group plc ("ECU") was founded in 1988 to launch a pioneering multi-currency financial product to help manage the colossal debt burden built up as a result of the excesses of the 1980's. For 25 years, ECU has continued to develop innovative asset and liability management strategies for corporates, family offices, pension funds and UHNW private clients.Our global macro advisory, currency overlay and currency alpha products are all natural extensions to our flagship multi-currency debt management programme, and provide an optimal and well-balanced product range for ECU's valued client base.At the centre of our long history of serving our clients are our people—an exceptionally talented and committed team of professionals with considerable market experience and expertise.
