At Extra Mile, the sight of senior executives wearing detective hats to solve a fictitious crime scene or a group of managers singing their heart out in the inter-department Antakashri challenge is utterly splendid! When we tell a story we see all the physical signs of age regression in our groups – they take to the floor, sit cross-legged, use their creative imaginations and their features smooth out as though recapturing lost moments from their youth. We engage employees through our 3 major verticals:- Objective-driven Offline Engagement- Creative Communication- Digital EngagementWe also engage employees on the Office floor to celebrate calendar events.Through the engagement of all their senses, they learn and they remember what they have learned. They leave our workshops on a high and more importantly, they apply their learning immediately back in the workplace – the learning and bonding was beyond anything they might have achieved by attending a lecture or through a dull ‘follow me' training session. We also spend time in more traditional pursuits of demonstration, discussion and debate – but the games and the debrief that follows them are a vitally important part of our training methods.
