Underground Productions is the resident theatre and production company of UQ. We bring to the Schonell stage each year a great range of shows - short, long, original, professional, realist, absurd, comic, dramatic and musical - along with some occasional off-campus dalliances including perhaps an arts festival, a toured show or two, some festival appearances, and collaborations with other theatre companies. Underground provides a great opportunity for theatre-interested students to test the waters or hone their skills - catering for keen beginners through to seasoned theatre-makers. Throughout the year we offer positions... on the stage acting, singing or dancingbackstage in lighting, sound and stage managementdesigning sets, costumes, hair and makeuporganising people, money, publicity, festivals, ticketing, events, or even the whole company...as well as many more that we can't remember now.
