KYND is an app that measures employee health and wellbeing. It is constructed by a series of questions, that provides employees with scores for their physical (BODY), mental (MIND) and social (LIFE) health. KYND measures things such as blood pressure, fatigue, anxiety and stress levels. KYND is a tool used to reduce injuries, fatalities, and loss of productivity in organisations. We measure, manage and provide employees with tools to take care of their health. We believe KYND increases organisations productivity, commitment to the organisation and overall happiness of staff. Employers will receive a corporate report once KYND has been implemented within the company. Here organisations have the opportunity to see anonymised data of their staff, clearly identifying their specific risk areas. This allows companies to direct resource where they need it most, as well as measure ROI for current and future intiatives. Founded in 2015, KYND has been implemented within industry leaders such as Rabo Bank, Rayonier Matariki and Fonterra to name a few. KYND has a special focus in forestry and farming, as checking your blood pressure can be as important, if not more important than checking the functionality of machines for health and safety. Dr Tom Mulholland, Founder and Director of KYND and Emergency Department Doctor, believes that 80% of workplace injuries are due to employees being stressed, tired or hungry.By measuring and managing these things, we believe KYND can play a vital part in preventative health care for organisations.
