Center for Pluralism - Respecting the otherness of the other

Washington, DC, US • 5 - 9 Employees
Education/Training

A nation's success rests on two solid legs – one is the economic prosperity, and the other is cohesiveness of the society. Our contribution to the world is minimizing the Poverty, social hostility and religious differentials and let people focus on living their lives and not entangle themselves in the daily non-consequential battles. The first and foremost change is "resetting" our attitudes. It has two components; education and attitude. We have conflicts between nations, societies, communities, and families because of the myths pounded on to our psyche by our parents, teachers, religious ministers, friends and the media. If we can learn to respect the otherness of others and accept the God-given (or genetic) uniqueness of each one of us, the conflicts fade, and solutions emerge. We define "Pluralism" as an attitude of 'respecting the otherness of others' - Our research, studies, workshops, and activism is about Pluralism practices in religion, politics, society, culture, and business. We offer pluralistic solutions on issues of the day. Pluralism has always been there in practice, but more than ever, it needs to become a dominant attitude as an antidote to the divisiveness that is tearing our social fabric apart. The Center for Pluralism will become the energy to give a solid, cohesive social structure to each society.CFP will continue to bring non-stop actions in practicing pluralism in religion, politics, society, and culture and be a catalyst for a safe and a secure America for each one of us as we move through this transition. As we learn to respect the otherness of others and accept the God-given uniqueness of each one of us, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge.  Please visit our website and participate as a volunteer, sponsor or a donor. We are a Washington based non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization. Check our home page for what we do
