We achieve unmatched standards through our vertical integration in development, construction and management, providing each property the highest level of consistency and quality.Focus was started under the direction of Jerald Good who remains the company's CEO and President to this day. The company started off developing residential communities, apartment projects and skilled nursing homes. In 1970 the company developed nine (9) Carlton Lodges. Those hotels were the first ever limited service hotel, now operating under the Marriott Courtyard brand. In the past 20 years, the company has developed and constructed over 45 hotels throughout the Midwest, including brands under InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Hilton and Marriott.
