TeatroStageFest is produced by the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, Inc. (LITF/NY), a tax-exempt non-profit organization that presents acclaimed local and international Theater, Dance, Music and Puppetry productions, free family events, a conference, and much more. This year, TeatroStageFest 2011's will celebrate its 5th Anniversary featuring a stellar performance by Lauren Vélez (Dexter) in They Call Me La Lupe, a gut-wrenching portrait of La Lupe, Cuba's musical icon and acclaimed "Queen of Latin Soul" in New York. The opening on June 4th, 2011 will be followed by an exciting line-up of shows for multi-generational audiences of all backgrounds.
