Smudge's 12 years as a software management company has given us the experience and expertise to work confidently with complex systems and projects that span over long periods of time. The success of these projects is a combination of communication between all partners involved, the execution of the agile methodology throughout the process, as well as having a senior team who understands complex and integrated solution systems. Smudge is able to manage entire projects including external and internal teams and coordinate the process from analysis and design to development, testing, final delivery and implementation. Smudge has worked on many high-profile projects with influential and well-known brands within the banking and retail sectors. Within banking Smudge has worked with Nedbank, ABSA, Standard Bank and Mercantile bank on various complex projects. Within the retail environment we have worked with international brands such as Walmart, Massmart, Huawei and Timberland. Smudge was started by Gary Leicher in 2007 and the high-quality principle that the business was built on then, has never faulted and will never change.
