In 1835, Amédée Vignot, boarded a ship in Bordeaux bound for New York City to begin a new wine import business. Together Amédée, his wife and son Alfred continued the successful family business. Today, 180 years later, Clement Vignot van Beuren Butt, Amédée's third great grandson, continues the family business as a direct importer of a unique portfolio of wines from Europe.
