Gunflint Lodge & Outfitters is the only full-service resort with the world-famed Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness as its backyard. With 24 lakeside cabins open year-round, a full-service restaurant and bar, and a large open event center that can host groups of up to 95 people in a variety of layouts. Our venue has hosted everything from wedding parties and receptions to corporate marketing events and photoshoots, to President's Club sales incentives and small group C-suite brainstorming and teambuilding events. You'll find our world-class food, featuring a Northwoods-inspired menu, can be prepared for you in sit-down or buffet style and served in our inspiring Event Center, Justine's intimate dining room, or even our lakeside patio. Accommodations range from comfortable lakeside one-bedroom cabins to four or five-bedroom cabins, many with full kitchens, saunas, and even indoor or outdoor hot tubs. Many of these cabins have large great rooms or small breakout rooms that can be used for small group sessions in total privacy. Wi-fi is availble in all public buildings and cabins, but cell phone service does not reach the area, so you can focus on your team but still keep connected to work at your office.You'll also find plenty of team-building activities to engage in while you're here. During the summer you'll find opportunities to zip line or canoe into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness where you learn to trust and rely on your team members. In the winter, snowshoeing and winter camping provide those opportunities. In addition, hiking, biking, horseback riding and dogsledding are all fun activities for your team.
