Founded in Hong Kong in 1951, Aitken, Vanson Group is a manufacturer of Safety Shoes, Garments, Outdoor Furniture and Watch Bands serving clients across Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. We also import and export Leather and Food/Feed Additives.1950'sOur journey started in the 50s, as a young company, we traded various products and manufactured hardware, wigs and other products through partnership with other companies.1960'sFollowing this, we manufactured handbag, fashion, sweater and other products with our own factory through the 60s to early 70s.1970'sThe 70s saw one of our businesses, garment manufacturing started to take shape where we manufactured our garments in Hong Kong then gradually expanded into Thailand, Vietnam and China over the years. We became the pioneer in exporting EN standard workwear to Europe.1980'sBetween the 70s and the 80s, we added watch band manufacturing into our businesses, where we started to specialize in OEM stainless steel, titanium, solid and wrap type metal watch band and buckle manufacturing for the Top 3 watch makers in Japan.1990'sStarting in the 90s, we expanded into food and feed additives (USA FDA registration starting 2005) and chemicals which are exported to Europe, USA and Asia. In 1998, we became the first manufacturer in China to produce EN 345 (EN ISO 20345:2011) standard safety shoes exporting to Europe. The following year, in 1999, Our watch band factory obtained ISO 9001:2000 management system certification.2010'sIn 2013, we opened a new manufacturing and trading hub in Cambodia. As of today, our products also include outdoor furniture, gloves and other products.The headquarters building of Aitken Vanson Group was rebuilt in 1994 into a 33-storey skyscraper from its original building we own since 1972. The new building is now known as Aitken Vanson Centre located in the heart of Kwun Tong industrial and commercial area.
