At MMA & Sports Rehab, we pride ourselves with detailed examination to evaluate our patient. Our evaluation includes observation of static and movement patterns, pain provocation tests, active, passive, and resisted tests, specific joint tests, specific ligament tests if appropriate, specific neurologic testing, and functional testing. Rather than simply focusing on the actual painful/affected area, our Arlington physical therapists examine a patient as a "whole person," determining the source of the problem/tissue dysfunction and determine how the surrounding joints and various tissues can affect the current impairments. We correlate all the findings and provides a specific physical therapy or manual therapy diagnosis, in addition to developing a specific treatment plan for the patient.
