SPAMA's History and Work Specialized Care Medical Equipment (SPAMA) was established in 2003. It works in particular in comprehensive home medical care and care for persons with special needs. Specialized Care Medical Equipment (SPAMA) consortium includes Specialized Bases which aims to transform the environment surrounding persons with special needs into an interactive environment better suited to their needs and requirements. SPAMA works with its partners to raise the medical awareness of the patient and society as a whole. They also aim to train families on the best ways of dealing with the different medical conditions and the correct use of home medical equipment.
