Bako Kontagora Development Foundation is a non-governmental development foundation that is into Sustainable Development Goal 2, whose objective is to end hunger, achieve food security and improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture. We play essential role of delivering need based essential services, technologies and inputs to the population.The Bako Kontagora Development Foundation is set to establish local agricultural biodiversity to nourish our people and sustain our planet by transforming rural economy, putting smallholder farmers in the center and investing in sustainable agriculture and food security.We operate on the premise that a Great Nation like Nigeria has the capacity to grow enough food to feed all her citizens. We have taken the responsibility to build the capacity of local farmers in the Rural Areas by retraining and educating them on various modern agricultural methodologies including high yield seedings per hectare, the use of fertilizers, and agro chemicals at the farms.
