The Lutheran World Federation Jordan aims to support Syrian refugees in Za'atari camp, Syrian and Iraqi refugees and vulnerable host communities in Jordan. The work is focused on providing WASH upgrades in schools, mental health and psychosocial support, community participation and vocational training and unconditional cash assistance. LWF Jordan is engaged in peace-building and conflict mitigation initiatives to bring together Syrian refugees and Jordanians in host communities. The Lutheran World Federation (LWF) is a global communion of Christian churches in the Lutheran tradition. Founded in 1947 in Lund, Sweden, the LWF now has 143 member churches in 79 countries all over the world representing 70.5 million Christians.
