The mission of BEDS Plus Care is to help vulnerable individuals stabilize their lives through housing and supportive services. Our vision is to end homelessness in Southwest Suburban Cook County, where we primarily serve the Townships of Lemont, Lyons, Palos, Proviso, Orland, Riverside, Stickney and Worth . As a Suburban Cook County Coordinated Entry partner, we also serve prioritized clients from throughout the County. Through deliberate planning and strategic implementation, we have been able to reach nine times more people over the past six years. During that period, over 4,000 clients have used our homelessness prevention, emergency shelter, and housing programs. BEDS partnered with each of these individuals and families to provide case management; physical, mental, and behavioral healthcare; and social services, including connections to employment opportunities. 2,900 have secured stable housing.In fiscal year 2018, BEDS Plus served 920 unique clients. Thanks to our faith-based volunteer partners, we delivered 13,516 nights of shelter and over 45,000 emergency meals to 306 homeless members of our communities
