The foundation Center for Interamerican Studies (CEDEI) was designed by a group of university professors from the United States, Peru, and Ecuador. It was founded in August of 1991 and legally incorporated in 1992. The principal objective: promote mutual understanding between the peoples and countries of the Americas, encouraging academic and cultural exchange as well as service to the community. CEDEI sponsors a variety of academic activities independently and in conjunction with universities in North and South America. CEDEI has three programs: CEDEI School, CEDEI Inglés, and CEDEI International Programs.
