We are BioThrust, a tech start-up offering two breakthrough product lines that reach new levels in the aeration of bioreactors. Both product lines can be used in various application fields such as cell cultures and microbial fermentations. Our company emerged from a spin-off from the RWTH Aachen and is funded by the the „EXIST-Forschungstransfer" (BMWi).Our first product line, the BioThrust Membrane Module, enables the world's first effective bubble-free aeration of bioreactors. It enables a gentle, stress-free gassing for all cell cultures and organisms. The formation of foam is completely avoided and nearly 100% of the gas is transferred. Our membranes allow you to increase your space-time yield by up to 250%. Our second product line, the highly porous stirrers, offers significant improvements for long established processes. Using an innovative 3D-printing technology, we can produce highly porous fixtures from polyamide with pore sizes of just a few micro meters. With these easy to use products, you can increase your gas transfer by 30-80%. The products can be fully customized to your needs.We are looking forward to thrust your processes!
