Future Fashion Factory is a £5.4 million R&D partnership exploring and developing new digital and advanced textile technologies to boost the design of high-value creative products in the UK fashion and textiles industry.In addition to our ongoing research projects, we fund and support collaborative R&D and facilitate new partnerships and collaborations between designers, manufacturers, researchers and businesses across the supply chain.Future Fashion Factory is led by the University of Leeds in partnership with the University of Huddersfield and the Royal College of Art, as well as the Textile Centre of Excellence in Yorkshire. Our core industrial partners include Burberry, UKFT, British Fashion Council, Wools of New Zealand, Abraham Moon & Sons, Leeds City Council, Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP), Textile Centre of Excellence, W.T. Johnson & Sons, AW Hainsworth and Camira Fabrics.Future Fashion Factory is part of the Creative Industries Cluster Programme, funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council and part of the Industrial Strategy.
