A Private academic institution of public benefit. It was established in Karbala by virtue of the decree issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. (6519) on 19/09/2017 in accordance with the Law of Establishing Colleges and Universities of the Republic No. (13) of 1996 amended.The University of Al-Ameed consists of three faculties ( Faculty of Medicine ,Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Nursing) and Female's Student Halls in its compound located in the holy Karbala City in central Iraq on Karbala Road - Najaf opposite Pole No 1238.The University of Al-Ameed seeks to benefit from the latest modern educational and technological curricula, effective teaching methods and laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art technology to providing an integrated university environment in terms of infrastructure, parks and playgrounds in order to offer the best to our dear students.The University is constantly communicating with the community in the belief that the university's objective is to serve the society through its distinguished graduates and to carry out scientific researches that address the problems of our Iraqi society. The Faculty of Medicine is the first and leading university at the level of private universities. These competencies through dealing with some of the world's most prestigious universities will remain the University of Al-Ameed, a distinguished scientific monument in the mosaic of Iraqi colleges and universities.
