Musictownlive is a new app to help users discover hard-to-find live local music show. A 100% woman owned company, Musictownlive offers a comprehensive list of all music events playing in the area from big concerts to little, hard to find events. The user can see videos of the bands in app to determine if they want to go to see them. Audiences have shown that they want to see smaller, local bands in smaller venues. These are often unticketed so they are hard to find information on. Users have to scour a myriad of Facebook pages and bar calendars to find events. Musictownlive finds the local events, improves and consolidates the event information, and presents it to users via an attractive, easy to use, free mobile app. Users can buy tickets or make table reservations at non ticketed events. We list hundreds of events every night in the DC area alone. The communities response has been very positive and we have attracted almost 1,000 users in the first five months.
