Duncanville Independent School District is a K-12 public school system located in North Texas working to transform education for the students we serve. As a result of our work with parents, business owners, and community members, the district designed a comprehensive learner profile that clearly identifies the abilities and skills students will gain as a result of their education in Duncanville. This profile, known as the Vision of the Learner, includes three innovative learning standards - leadership and character development, learning technologies, and 21st century skills. These three learning standards all focus on developing the character traits and competencies needed to be successful in our global society.
