Directed by the renowned specialist Dr.Sam Fanous, The Montreal Eye Clinic was founded in 1982 in downtown Montreal, then a second clinic was opened in 2006 in Longueuil. In October 2011, following the inauguration of the The Montreal Eye Institute in Ville St. Laurent, the two clinics joined the Institute to become satellite clinics, improving accessibility to patients downtown and the South Shore. In order to follow the North American tendency to group ophthalmic services under one roof, the design plans of the Institute were entrusted to an American company specializing in the creation and operation of leading ophthalmic centers throughout the U.S. We have a forward-thinking approach that allows us to offer patients, in a reassuring atmosphere, a service that is both fast and efficient.
