A fusion of water and herbs are a form of connecting people to place.Tamarack Teas utilizes sustainable foraging techniques, informed by specific demands (cultural, social, ecological) of a plant. Tamarack Teas sources all of its' plants from within Mi'kma'ki and blend combinations fluctuate depending on the availability. Our blends are comprised of 17 distinct plants, all found within an Acadian Forest. Every plant hosts a multitude of nutritional and medicinal properties. Several of these plants are native to Mi'kma'ki and hold cultural (food, medicine, spiritual) relationships that predates creation of "Canada" and changes to medical/botanical science. - Calendula (Calendula officinalis)- Common Yarrow (Achillea millefolium)- Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)- Garden/Common Sage (Salvia officinalis)- Ginger (Zingiber officinale)
