Avacta Animal Health provides veterinary laboratory services and diagnostic testing to veterinary surgeons, laboratories and commercial and research organisations worldwide. Our range of allergy tests, under the brand SENSITEST®, was established in 1999 to assist veterinary surgeons worldwide with the diagnostic work-up of canine, feline and equine allergy. Not only do we conduct the tests at our Yorkshire based laboratory (ISO9001 2015 accredited) but we also develop and manufacture bespoke assays for our authorised laboratories across the globe. We also offer a range of Acute Phase Protein (APP) and other selected diagnostic assays. To complement our tests we supply a portfolio of allergy therapies including allergen-specific immunotherapy and are the appointed UK distributor for Delmont’s Staphylococcus Phage Lysate. Our dedicated, knowledgeable Technical Support Team and UK Sales force, are on hand to provide advice and assistance. We provide free pre-paid postal packs to send in samples, with results provided within 7-10 days from receipt of sample. Our team of leading research and development scientists are highly regarded within the dermatology field, having submitted clinical papers and presented at successive World Congresses of Veterinary Dermatology since 2008. We work alongside leading figures and companies in veterinary dermatology. Our team work internationally with veterinarians and researchers on individual studies and as part of commercial CRO projects to innovate pet food ingredients, allergenicity testing, and within other areas of veterinary diagnostics. All projects are thoroughly evaluated with our clients to ensure satisfactory delivery within set requirements and deadlines. In addition, we have experience in all areas of data science including data cleansing, exploratory data analysis, statistical analysis, data visualisation, big data, machine learning, deep learning and the development of data driven products.
