InclusivED was founded by Naomi Menon, who is a trained specialist in the field of special education. The centre aims to be a safe learning space for children and young adults to get support for their areas of concern and achieve their goals. InclusivEd caters to any child who is in need of academic, social and behavioral support. We believe in inclusion where all the children can come together to support each other and build their skills. We support children who go to mainstream schools and require after school support as well as children as young as 3 years old to prepare them for schooling. Our services include Remediation and Workshops for teachers and parents. Remediation is a therapeutic way of supporting children with additional support needs who either go to mainstream schools or are home schooled. There are individualized plans for each child that is moulded to cater to their specific areas of concern. We believe in a collaborative support system for the child and therefore involve the parents/caregivers and the teachers in the therapeutic process.Workshops for parents and teachers aim to spread awareness and sensitize on the various needs that children have today. We also conduct workshops on specific topics of concern, for example, Learning styles, adolescent development, theory of inclusion; early identification of children withadditional support needs etc.
