Able Mediation provides professional family mediation services for all issues arising from family breakdown, including arrangements for children, the division of property and finances and communications. Family mediation is suitable for a wide range of cases in addition to those issues normally associated with divorce and separation. These can include mediation for gay couples, to develop detailed parenting plans, for issues which involve extended family or where couples wish to develop pre- or post-nuptial agreements. Able was co-founded by Juliet Wilkinson and Nasrin Grayson in September 2013. Both are passionate about the benefits of mediation and as dedicated mediators they have a wealth of experience in a wide diversity of cases, which include high net worth, children matters, communication issues and domestic violence. Juliet and Nasrin understand the necessity for a wide range of skills and attributes to make mediation successful and strive to provide a service, based on good practice, which honours these. These include empathy, the ability to put clients at ease and provide an environment for mediation which feels safe and supported, impartiality, professionalism, flexibility, the ability to tailor the process to the needs of individual clients, sound understanding of family law, appropriate information giving to assist clients to understand their position within the mediation process and the legal framework and good sign-posting/referrals to ensure clients get the right support / advice at the right time.
