Maverick Yachts specializes in building luxurious and spacious cruising catamarans. Their main production models are the Maverick 400, 440 and Maverick 440 Hybrid which they manufacture to order on a semi-custom basis allowing customers to choose their layout, décor, systems, equipment and appliances. Maverick Yachts is the first cruising catamaran in this century to offer a hybrid propulsion system, allowing the props to be driven by electric motors providing high levels of instant torque and also hydro-regeneration capabilities while sailing. Maverick Yachts is also a custom builder for one off projects from concept to launch, and can help clients to complete existing yacht projects. They also produce ocean going taxi and ambulance boats. Their ambulance boat being a first in Africa.
