A school where teachers are proud to say "I teach beer!"This is the Science of Beer. Headquartered in Florianópolis (SC), it is responsible for promoting courses and events focused on the beer market throughout Brazil since 2010. An institution that seeks to train professionals to work in the new Brazilian brewing scene; designs courses and workshops for fans and connoisseurs and offers consultancies for events and establishments connected to the beer scenario. Science has renowned teachers, all with international training and experience besides being active in the brewing market, guaranteeing high quality courses. This team is led by the brewing scientist and CEO, Amanda Reitenbach, who earned her doctorate in Germany and travels the world recognized as an authority in this field. The work has been executed in an itinerant way throughout the national territory, which has made it possible to expand the country's operations. Since it was founded, the Institute has formed more than 35 classes in different states of Brazil. In 2017 it began to expand the work to Latin America in partnership with the Instituto Cervezas de América and is now seeking to advance to Europe and the United States.
