Thames & Newcastle is a Chartered Building Company focused on the construction and property markets within London, Greater London and the South East. Our objective is to maintain the traditional values of being a small family oriented business, while striving to offer the professional approach required by our clients of much larger organisations. We directly employ many key trades and have close links with a number of specialist sub-contractors with whom we work on a regular basis. By adopting this approach we feel we maintain a good balance between quality control and cost control. We provide the following services: New build residential Refurbishment including Grade I and II Listed Basement conversions Extensions Carpentry Bespoke joinery Electrical installation Plumbing installation Waterproof tanking Plastering & drylining 2014 saw Thames & Newcastle establish a new modern joinery workshop and office base in east London – with close links to the City and only 30 minutes from Hyde Park. At Thames & Newcastle we also recognise the confidence instilled in our clients by association with external bodies. We are approved by the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) and the National HouseBuilding Council (NHBC). We are also members of Constructionline, the UK register of pre-qualified construction services. More recently we are proud to have become recognised as a Chartered Building Company by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and have also become accredited by Newton to install basement tanking and waterproofing systems enabling us to directly provide insurance backed guarantees for this work.
