The School of Young Managers in Public Administration (SYMPA) is a project aimed at formation in Belarus a community of young people aware of principles and mechanisms of public administration of different level. Within the educational sessions the group visits the state institutions (the parliaments, city councils etc.) of host countries, and the students get not only theoretical knowledge on public administration topics but also have an opportunity to see how the best practices are being implemented in reality.Our students are young people aged 25 to 40 who are professionals in different spheres: in business, NGOs, political life. We suppose that many of them in the nearest future would be able to become civil servants of different levels.Experts of our School are known scientists and professionals – economists, political scientists, sociologists, journalists, public administration specialists and scientists from Belarus, Ukraine, Lithuania, Sweden, as well as internationally recognized experts from other countries.
