Rising Tides Healing Centre is a trauma-focused clinic. All of our therapists are trained in a variety of trauma treatments including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and others. We are actively looking for trauma-focused therapists who may be interested in joining our team. We offer a collaborative team environment, peer consultation and EMDRIA approved onsite consultation hours for EMDR trained therapists.We understand the importance of preventing trauma responses when possible, which is why we also offer G-TEP supports to the employers and community settings. G-TEP is an early intervention that is offered to groups who have been impacted by a traumatic event. It is an alternative to traditional crisis management services and has proven to be effective at both reducing and preventing the onset of PTSD symptoms.At Rising Tides, we also work with closely with our collaborative partners in holistic healing approaches for the whole mind, body and spirit. Our centre offers yoga, mediation and reiki classes and workshops to the public in addition to our individual and family therapy sessions.
