xmade is an architectural firm based in Basel and Barcelona with international collaborators, focused on the research, design and materialization of contemporary buildings. Our main focus is centered on the development of design solutions based on the exploration of emerging materials and the processes involving their production. We undertake this approach working in two main areas of development: architecture & building envelope and material prototypes.xmade's design process is shaped by the development and application of specific tools and methods.
