Leather Works Minnesota began in our basement in 1999. From the beginning, the dream was to start a company that would inspire a return to "American Made". Each item is made by hand and inspected at every phase of the process. From utting, to imprinting, piecing, sewing, and burnishing edges, our skilled team of craftsmen are always striving to create the perfect piece that will last you a lifetime. We only use the finest materials, with the majority of our leather coming from Red Wing's S.B. Foot Tannery (1872), and a carefully selected array of threads from heavy nylon to waxed cotton. We never allow an item to leave our front door that we are not proud of. It is an honor to be a part of the "Made In America" movement, and we take pride in the work that is produced by our peers, both at home and then spread out to the world. Kent & Lee Begnaud, husband and wife team, run the shop along with a dedicated staff of full and part-time craftsmen. We are a group of like-minded individuals with the same purpose and direction. We do what we love, strive to be outstanding, and continue to Fight The Good Fight.
