Windsor is located approximately 50 miles north of Denver. It is centrally located approximately 15 miles from Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley.Weld RE-4 is home to 9 schools and a charter program. Tozer Primary School (P-2), Mountain View Elementary School (3-5), Skyview Elementary School (P-5), Grandview Elementary School (P-5), Range View Elementary (P-5), Windsor Middle School (6-8), Severance Middle School (6-8) Severance High School ( 9-10 for their opening year!), Windsor High School (9-12). The district also has Windsor Charter Academy Elementary School, Windsor Charter Academy Middle School and Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School.
