About Kevin Kevin has been involved in the broadcast industry since 1978 when he first started Michigan State University. After being turned down by campus radio the first week because they didn't hire freshman, Kevin went over to WELM, East Lansing's Public Access cable station and promptly went on air as their weather guy and fill in news anchor. Still trying to get on the air at campus radio Kevin was awarded an air shift during finals week of Spring-term and he never looked back. After more than 30 years in the industry, Kevin is still learning new things every day. With the advent of digital programs and the Internet, opportunities arise every day for people willing and able to work for them. As an industry veteran with years of experience touching many aspects of the business from announcer, sales executive and commercial voice-over talent, Kevin feels that he is wired into the rapidly changing Broadcast/Media landscape through memberships in the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, The Michigan Association of Educational Broadcasters, The MCA-I and the Michigan Production Alliance.
