Since the brand formation in 1930 Hartridge has become a world leader in diesel fuel injection test equipment. In 1935, Hartridge ingeniously adapted a magneto test stand to produce one of the world's first diesel fuel pump test stands. Facilities Located in Buckingham Hartridge occupies a purpose built facility approximately 27,000 ft2 (2500 m2) for production, R&D and administration. This facility is supplemented by around 85 distributors globally who are considered to be an extension of the Hartridge organisation. Hartridge is the diesel aftermarket test equipment provider exclusively for Delphi and Siemens VDO. Furthermore, it is recommended and in some cases, mandated by Denso and Stanadyne.
