Flavometrix offers consultancy and contract research to companies with flavour related problems. Our aim is to use the fundamental research knowledge we have generated in the University and apply it to commercial issues. We have our own core equipment and premises on the University of Nottingham, Sutton Bonington Campus plus access to the huge range of equipment and expertise within the School of Biosciences. We negotiate our own contracts and thus avoid some of the difficulties in working with a large organisation e.g. IP issues or delays in agreeing a contract. Flavometrix has 7 years of experience of working with companies from global blue chip organisations through medium and SME establishments. There are 3 full time employees, Dr Avinash Kant, Dr Jim Davidson and Dr Helen Taylor plus myself (Andy Taylor).
