Our ExperienceWe rehabilitate clients with the most debilitating of conditions, some have no known cause or cure. However, some of the conditions we encounter may have been prevented with good medical management and strategic exercise.Our GoalsWe have two related but distinctly different goals:Rehabilitation : To support our rehabilitation clients to achieve greater independence and quality of life by providing the most flexible, compassionate and evidence-informed rehabilitation service in their home or community.Prehabilitation: To develop community health programs and assistive technology that will improve the health literacy, body awareness and long term health and quality-of-life outcomes of our community. We have our sights set on reducing the long term incidence of musculoskeletal injury, cardiac and respiratory disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, pelvic floor weakness, falls & fractures.Our StrategyIn addition to rehabilitation services in the home, we offer group physiotherapy classes which incorporate evidence-informed exercises for body awareness, balance, bone density, core stability and cardiorespiratory health. Our classes are designed and delivered by a physiotherapist for specific conditions, ages or stages of the lifespan.We also develop assistive technology to facilitate clients to set and achieve their health and fitness goals.Our Location:This is an innovative private practice without walls.We rehabilitate individuals in their homes, and deliver group exercise therapy in community venues. We regularly use the classroom at Quany's Gym in East Brisbane on Wednesdays and Saturdays and we use the Grange Bowls Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays.Quany's Gym 104 Norman St East BrisbaneGrange Bowls Club79 Sellheim St Grange.
