The LIVE Lab is a research facility at Texas A&M University College Station that develops Learning Interactive Visual Experiences, pioneering the new front of game-based learning by incorporating game methodologies with college-level materials. With a skilled and complete production team, the help of subject matter experts, and a passion for game development, the lab has managed to create balanced interactive experiences that are both entertaining and educational. Since its opening in 2014, the lab has worked to tackle and overcome major educational barriers, developing games to help students better comprehend and appreciate the history of art through the ages, as seen in the ARTe suite, as well as games designed to combat the overwhelming failure rates surrounding STEM degrees through the Variant series. Many of the games that have started in the LIVE Lab have been externally commercialized and are being used in hundreds of schools around the world, including North America, Europe, and Asia.
