Cerebra provides scalable content and merchandising solutions enabling the next generation of content delivery, advertising and eCommerce optimization. Cerebra was originally founded in 2001 to further develop and commercialize technology acquired from the University of Manchester leveraging 25 years of research and experience in the theory of semantics, search and contextual matching. After being acquired by webMethods in 2006 and then Software AG soon after, Cerebra has just re-emerged independent. We have completed the management buy-back of all of our technology and intellectual property from Software AG, and raised our initial funding from Intel Capital.
