Abbe was also one of the few estate planning attorneys who advertised on television, which allowed her to expand her practice.Her son, Ryan McLane, began working for her as a legal clerk in 2008. After Ryan finished his undergraduate studies, deployed to Afghanistan and completed law school, the two of them formed McLane & McLane in 2017.
