American Aero FTW, located at Meacham International Airport in Fort Worth, TX, is a fixed-base operator (FBO) focused on the refueling, ground handling, and storing of business and private aviation aircraft. Founded in 2012, the executive private aviation terminal offers extensive crew and passenger amenities and is dedicated to providing premier services to the private aviation industry. Expansion Plans for 2015/2016: In March 2015, American Aero joined the City of Fort Worth Aviation Department in a major expansion of the Meacham International Airport Administration Building. The $17.5 million renovation and development effort is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2016. American Aero is building 100,000sf of state-of-the-art LEED certified hangars, accommodating aircraft up to a Gulfstream G650. Hangar and office space is available for lease. American Aero operates 11 hangars with more than 290,000sf of hangar and associated office space. In 2014, American Aero renovated the historic 1933 hangar at Meacham that once served as the original headquarters and office building of American Airways Southern Division. American Aero FTW is a Signature Select™ affiliated FBO, offering the benefits of the Signature Flight Support network, including Signature Status® and Signature TailWins® customer rewards programs. Signature Flight Support is the world's largest network of FBOs. American Aero offers an expansive beverage and snack bar, crew lounge, eat-in kitchen, quiet rooms, conference room, free Wi-Fi, flight planning room, U.S. Customs, complimentary local hotel drop-off and pickup, on-site car rentals, new 2015 Volvo and Tahoe crew cars, and golf carts for passenger, crew, and luggage transportation. Ground support services include: air start, ground power, potable water, lavatory service, air stairs, belt loader, forklift and third-party maintenance, oxygen, nitrogen, and de-icing services.
