JMI is the hub of jazz education and performance in Australia. JMI is committed to providing high-quality and holistic jazz education programs of an international standard, focused on performance. To achieve this mission, JMI runs a multitude of jazz music education programs ranging from a Bachelors' degree to casual classes that are delivered by some of Australia's finest jazz musicians and educators. JMI is also committed to enriching the community through jazz music by providing platforms for its performance and development. We do this by running our own jazz club, JMI Live, and presenting hundreds of performances a year throughout the community.If you are serious about studying music, then JMI is the place for you.
